Our 2026 seedling sale features shrubs and small trees with fruit for people and wildlife. These plants will also help clean our water and air, prevent soil erosion, sequester carbon, and add beauty to your landscape.

The Berry Bonanza package features two each of:

Canada Serviceberry (Amelanchier canadensis)
15 - 30 ft. tall. Full sun to partial shade. Moist soils.
Shrub with masses of white flowers in early spring on upright stems that complement attractive silver-gray bark. Red to black fruit in summer. Brilliant fall color ranges from red to orange to yellow. Can form thickets. Good for birds, pollinators. Special value to native bees. Commonly hybridizes with Downy Serviceberry.

Can form thickets. Great food source for birds. Special value to native bees. Nectar source for many butterflies.

A full, non-refundable payment must accompany your order. Orders will close if supplies run out. You will be emailed a confirmation receipt. The receipt will include the address of the pick-up site near Falls Church, VA. Pick-up days are Friday March 27th (9am to 4pm) and Saturday March 28th (9am to noon), 2026.

Consider bringing a container to carry your seedlings home, especially if you are ordering more than one package. A 5-gallon bucket works well for this purpose.

When submitting your order, do not click the Back button, do not Refresh the page and do not click Submit more than once!

Important: the seedlings need to get into the ground soon after pick-up. If you cannot do this, temporarily put them in a shady place and keep the roots moist.
